My name is Brandi and my everyday name translates to 'one who has a gift of gathering people together or to gather', and I come from the people of the Lekwungen, Lyackson, and Squamish people on my mother's side and the Kwakwaka'wakw people on my dad's side from the villages of the Musgamakw from the people of Wakeman sound, 'Namgis people in Alert Bay, and the people of Village Island from the Mamalilikala territory.
I've been beading for ten years, and have been teaching youth as well since beginning to keep the art form alive in the younger generation. I like to work predominately with materials such as Dentalium shells, Abalone shells, Ermine, Fur, and other natural materials. I hope you find something that makes you happy and feel beautiful. Each piece is made with good thoughts, intention and good energy. Gilakas'la!
